Hayes Street Studio is Available for Rental

In case of rentals, our hire fee is $400 for a weekend event, which includes four hours of time with the space.

This comes with a list of amenities outlined below. For a higher fee, we can increase the rehearsal timeframe or help with staffing.

We are additionally available for rehearsals or meetings at a rate of $75 hourly and private teaching at a rate of $40 hourly.

Rental amenities:

*1976 Japanese manufactured Yamaha C7 “semi-concert” grand “Yammy.” This instrument is both beautiful and quite unique, featuring a recently retrofitted CFX concert grand action, installed and maintained exclusively by Theme and Variations Piano Services.

*Lighting to make our stage area feel special. Modest adjustments are possible, and we can orientate you with our lighting system if you would like to dim or brighten the lights at any point during your show.

*Capacity of 30-37 seats and a flexible floorplan. We will set the room for you however you would like.

*Tea kettle, tea, mugs, and wine glasses. We have a small fridge if you would like to bring your own booze and / or refreshments.

*Music stands.

*Power outlets and extension cords.

Let us know what else you need in advance and we can probably accommodate.

Presentations

In addition to rentals, we have a limited capacity to present a variety of artists as part of our regular season calendar.

If we do not have the capacity to present you, we will generally write back to you with a rental option.

For proposals, please include a recording that represents your work and a proposed program (feel free to explain at any length).

We are open to a wide variety of musics, but our programs are generally not longer than 50-60 minutes with no intermission, or 14-20 min for a short set.

We value diversity, excitement, individuality, virtuosity, and vulnerability, as well as artistry that communicates well in an intimate setting.
