Rosie Gallagher, flute

A leading flute teacher in Sydney, Rosie Gallagher leads a varied musical life across Australia. She performs regularly with Opera Australia and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. Rosie is an experienced and passionate educator, having taught both privately and within institutions over the last decade. She has expertly guided students towards excellence in AMEB exams, Sydney Eisteddfods and HSC exams. She is a frequent adjudicator of Sydney Eisteddfods.
Chloe Chung, Alexander Technique, flute

Academic Lecturer of Flute at the Australian Institute of Music
Chloe Chung is a multi-style flautist, playing Western classical flute and dizi (Chinese bamboo flute), teaching music, and collaborating with others to foster unexpected musical forms and connections throughout Sydney and beyond. Her passion for creativity, sustainability and health education are central to her work as an active performer, teacher, and emerging creative director.

American Pianist Lee Dionne been described as “impressive” (NYTimes),“impeccable,” (Fanfare Magazine), and “entrancing (BBC Music Magazine). He has taught piano and chamber music at Yale College and the Yellow Barn Young Artists Program and has taught piano at the Sydney Conservatorium since 2025. He is a frequent adjudicator of Sydney Eisteddfods.
Dave Panichi, trumpet, trombone, tuba, euphonium

Born and raised in Sydney, Dave moved in 1981 to New York. During this time, Dave performed with a multitude of notable artists including, The Buddy Rich Big Band, Blood Sweat & Tears and Bob Mintzer.
Since Dave’s return in 2000 he has been active in performing, teaching, recording, arranging and composing.
In recent years, Dave has recorded a DVD in New York City and a CD in London featuring his big band compositions.
Meena Ahn, piano

Meena is a passionate piano teacher with over 25 years of experience who supports all students with their goals, whether learning for leisure, or for exams, performances and auditions with outstanding results. She has worked in various capacities at leading schools, including Redlands, Reddam House and MLC School, among many others. Currently, she works as the FT Piano Accompanist at St Catherine's School. Katrina Choi is a prize-winning concert pianist who has performed across Europe and in the USA. Kat's love of French and Russian music has shaped her musical style, inspired by colour, imagery, and emotional depth.
She is an Open Academy tutor at the Sydney Conservatorium, with over 15 years of teaching experience. Enthusiasm, discipline, and narrative are at the forefront of her teaching values.
