Saturday December 9th: Mystics and Visionaries - Chris Pidcock, cello, with Lee Dionne, piano
Join us for a night of extraordinary music for cello and piano. Hayes Street welcomes unique cellist Chris Pidcock, who will join pianist Lee Dionne for a night of chamber music. The program includes Beethoven's Cello Sonata No.3, a joyful work that will light up the start of the festive season and Giacinto Scelsi's mystical work, To the Master.

Inner Voice / In Her Voice with Kandice Joy and Kristian Winther -- Saturday December 2nd
Step into darkness with actor Kandice Joy joining us to perform Samuel Beckett's short, dramatic monologue: Not I. The work explores the emotional reaction of a woman deeply affected by the epiphany that caused her to be able to speak. The monologue will be bookended by musical offerings from Schubert, Brahms, Unsuk Chin, and Arvo Pärt, performed by Rosie Gallagher, Lee Dionne, and special guest violinist Kristian Winther. Eugene Lynch (The Other Theatre) co-directs the performance.

Mindfulness with Music
Get out of your head and into your hands. Come by Hayes Street Studio from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, where pianist Lee Dionne will perform works of Eric Satie while visitors are welcomed into the studio to participate in Marina Abramović's performance piece: Counting Rice. Reservations encouraged.

Hayes Street Studio kicks off YOLO Solos: where star instrumentalists come play concertos like it's their high school graduation, only better and more fun.
For our first edition, come hear Hayes Street's own Rosie Gallagher alongside magnificent violinist Anna da Silva Chen in showpieces by Matthew Hindson and Maurice Ravel. Daring and poignant keyboard works of Bach and Chopin bookend the program.

Hayes Street Jazz -- Kate Wadey Trio
Hayes Street Studio hosts its first jazz night with the legendary Kate Wadey, coming in with her own trio for a set of original numbers, folk songs, and favorites, and joined by Hayes Street's own Rosie Gallagher on flute.
